The Pesqueira City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. A sloppy throw-in by Gualter Paraibano in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pesqueira City's Válbson Vidal. Benjamin da Fonseca scored 0-7 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dagoberto Machado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benjamin da Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-9 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 66th minute of the match, Benjamin da Fonseca tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dagoberto Machado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 69th minute, Benjamin da Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The crowd rose to their feet as José Pedro Borges kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dagoberto Machado. That made the score 0-13 in the 72 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin da Fonseca in the 75th minute of play forced Carrapichel - FDFDF's goalkeeper Dagoberto Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Válbson Vidal lost his temper 77 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Jeremias Orland had in the 79thth minute some difficulties stopping Rogério Alcântara's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Pesquera during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Pesqueira City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Pesquera to maneuver through the defense. The Carrapichel - FDFDF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pesqueira City were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
