Guido Koldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Abel, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 21st match minute, Los Rojos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Gaueko to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Senin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kim-André Fagerås having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Senin made a kick off. Armando Cristofor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Kim-André Fagerås tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 minutes, Gilberto Jusepe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nativos Fútbol Club and the Los Rojos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Gilberto Jusepe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Cristofor struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Kim-André Fagerås didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nativos Fútbol Club.
