Bonifacio Nardo's late challenge caught a Matos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bonifacio Nardo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Matos FC booed when REYES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Nardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartolo Maties was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joel Pelayo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 15 minute of play. Bartolo Maties stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Pelayo's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Rolando Tanio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximo Bide was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Matos FC's Joel Pelayo in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. REYES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matos FC the free kick. Sergio Hermon kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Maximo Bide came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by REYES's Ismael Barrionuevo. But to his dismay, Ismael Barrionuevo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Barrionuevo in the 48th minute of play forced Matos FC's goalkeeper Maximo Bide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Ismael Barrionuevo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maximo Bide. That made the score 1-4 in the 63 minute of play. Ismael Barrionuevo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Maximo Bide made a huge save. In the 76thth minute of the game Rolando Tanio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matos FC's Maximo Bide was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ismael Barrionuevo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Maximo Bide made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, Rolando Tanio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maximo Bide, 1-6. REYES made a substitution. Angelo Martxot replaced Cornelio Justin. REYES's Rolando Tanio got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, Ismael Barrionuevo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Maximo Bide was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ismael Barrionuevo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximo Bide was a little too slow when Rolando Tanio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 1-8. The REYES players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
