With 7 minutes on the clock, Angel Giro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Boedo's Gregorio Urtun got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Boedo's zone, Leon Florin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardino Karlo came out of the goal and Leon Florin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aquilino Quinito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Tabor in the 16th minute of the match. Esteve Tabor did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Aquilino Quinito 16 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute Siro Oro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Karlo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Leon Florin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Leon Florin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Karlo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Florin's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Adrio in the 30th minute of play forced Arsenal's goalkeeper Aquilino Quinito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquilino Quinito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lázaro Ranolfo in the 34th minute. After 35 minutes, Leon Florin made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Boedo's Bernardino Karlo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goalkeeper Aquilino Quinito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lázaro Ranolfo. 42 minutes into the match, Boedo's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Hurko came free, but Bernardino Karlo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Ubaldo Hurko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arsenal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leon Florin to make the kick off. Bernardino Karlo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Hurko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Esteve Tabor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Quinito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Arsenal getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Miguel Rodriguez hit a great ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Lázaro Ranolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Ranolfo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Ubaldo Hurko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bernardino Karlo. Ubaldo Hurko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Boedo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Ubaldo Hurko scored to the left of an out of position Bernardino Karlo, making the score, 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Adrio in the 89th minute of play forced Arsenal's goalkeeper Aquilino Quinito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardino Karlo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leon Florin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 93 minute of play. If Leon Florin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Arsenal walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
