With his leg Samuel Mendez managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when CF LEM's Léo Messi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in CF LEM's zone, Celestino Lonzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Olivar came out of the goal and Celestino Lonzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Léo Messi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Mendez having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Turi in the 40th minute of play forced Aicrag FC's goalkeeper Samuel Mendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anibal Turi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

CF LEM's Javier Olivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Umea in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Aicrag FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Cosme Jacob hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Narciso Argi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
