The wind increased when Pastor Quinteros made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Rogelio Iigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lisandro Conrao. Suyuque's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogelio Iigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Lisandro Conrao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Iigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogelio Iigo in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lisandro Conrao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Trinchera FC booed when Suyuque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Rencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute of the match Baldomiro Duarte sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lisandro Conrao skillfully saved the ball. Elpidio Rencio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Andres Gonza's late challenge caught a Trinchera FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andres Gonza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, one of Suyuque:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Suyuque. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Sergio Montes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Trinchera FC's Sergio Montes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Jenaro in the 93rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Trinchera FC had won after a very even match.
