Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 6th minute, Jaime Cordairo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Naranja's Daniel Jerold got a free kick in the 11th minute. Anselmo Clodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Kimetz in the 13th minute of play. Baltasar Ovando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Chumo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Vinará's zone, Daniel Walroth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Clodio came out of the goal and Daniel Walroth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaime Cordairo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Daniel Walroth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anselmo Clodio. Vinará's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Walroth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 35th minute, Damaso Kismi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the game, Genaro Vito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vinará's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Naranja the free kick. Naranja made a substitution. Arsenio Pabla replaced Carlos Alberto Motta. Genaro Vito kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half Naranja were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Kimetz to make the kick off. When Daniel Walroth came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Naranja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Walroth couldn't finish the play.
