Jardón AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeronimo Lia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florencio Sarracino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Elija in the 85th minute of play. If Dagoberto Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to La Floresta FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Paulino Satordi hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Jeronimo Lia sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and La Floresta FC's Nunez Raebert didn't even have to move. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jardón AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
