60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Inde de Beltrán's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jerzy Brak was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgrano de cordoba's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Paolo Cefero heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 69th minute, Rogelio Pereyra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the game, Necip Fazıl Mustafa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inde de Beltrán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgrano de cordoba the free kick. Arturo Gustau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2.
