Celedonio Berenguer might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geronimo Savier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celedonio Berenguer ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute of the match, Roberto Ramirez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Geronimo Savier was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Orangats Funebre's Gualterio Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Locaio in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roberto Ramirez to strike the kick off in the second half. Roberto Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Natalio Pello managed to get in a good position for a shot.
