Lonquimay FC's players were relieved. 17 minutes into the game, one of Lonquimay FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Cayetano Nardo, was totally fooled by Orangats Funebre's Basilio Cefero, who 19 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Esteve Ortzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esteve Ortzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Merexildo having to interfere. Cayetano Nardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Urtun, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 36th match minute, Lonquimay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Vela to maneuver through the defense. Rafik Ibrir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basilio Cefero made in the 40th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Efrain Urtun however managed to control. A collision led to Lonquimay FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Generoso Teyo hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roberto Ramirez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cayetano Nardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87thth minute of the game Roberto Ramirez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lonquimay FC's Cayetano Nardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 91 played minutes Orangats Funebre got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Sugoi. Orangats Funebre's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
