Salvador Gaxan might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeo Aguilera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Salvador Gaxan ran back to his position shaking his head. Bogumil Marek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Haimar in the 11th minute of play. When Aurelio Adrio got free in front of the goal in the 18th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Tadeo Aguilera was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Ambrosio Bernal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurelio Adrio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Tadeo Aguilera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 25 played minutes Mallín FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Harri. Tadeo Aguilera stood somewhat misplaced when Aurelio Adrio came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 27 minute. Tadeo Aguilera was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Aurelio Adrio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aurelio Adrio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Tadeo Aguilera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Adrio went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Mallín FC's Tadeo Aguilera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Mallín FC from getting a goal against them. The Mallín FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Gaspar Haimar might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bogumil Marek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaspar Haimar ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaspar Haimar to make the kick off. Tadeo Aguilera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Gaxan, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The supporters of Mallín FC booed when Sportivo Avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Errolan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Marcial Virila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Salvador Gaxan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Bonifacio Ariando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurelio Adrio in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeo Aguilera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Salvador Gaxan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Tadeo Aguilera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Sportivo Avellaneda players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
