In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Argentinos del Sur's goalkeeper Cristobal Lauro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robustiano Mendez hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Gaudencio Foro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Cristobal Lauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Friedbert Schmal took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristobal Lauro. Cristobal Lauro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Arnoldo Nel hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Gaudencio Foro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristobal Lauro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Argentinos del Sur's Cristobal Lauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Foro in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Friedbert Schmal in the 19th minute of play forced Argentinos del Sur's goalkeeper Cristobal Lauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidro Tanio hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Cristobal Lauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Foro, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Marcelino Urdin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Prospero Chico having to make a save. Halcón FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Marcelino Urdin scored to the left of an out of position Prospero Chico, making the score, 1-2. Armando Schiavoni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristobal Lauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Foro in the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonel Peruxu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Gaudencio Foro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argentinos del Sur's Cristobal Lauro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Armando Schiavoni could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Cristobal Lauro however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Argentinos del Sur's zone, Friedbert Schmal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristobal Lauro came out of the goal and Friedbert Schmal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Argentinos del Sur defense, Armando Schiavoni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristobal Lauro. The Argentinos del Sur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristobal Lauro should have stopped the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Argentinos del Sur's goalkeeper Cristobal Lauro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Schiavoni. Cristobal Lauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Friedbert Schmal, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Dantel in the 69th minute of play forced Halcón FC's goalkeeper Prospero Chico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Chico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saturnino Dantel went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Halcón FC's Gaudencio Foro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristobal Lauro. That made the score 2-6 after 86 minutes of play. In the 89th minute of the match, Armando Schiavoni got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cristobal Lauro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 92 minutes into the match, Argentinos del Sur's Leonel Peruxu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prospero Chico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Argentinos del Sur's Cristobal Lauro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Argentinos del Sur from getting a goal against them.
