Anastasio Tebaldo came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Fabiano AFC's Enéas Maia. But to his dismay, Enéas Maia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Fabiano AFC booed when Jovenes Pordioseros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Jago didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Enéas Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fabiano AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enéas Maia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anastasio Tebaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enéas Maia in the 20th minute of play. Fabiano AFC's Damaso Paublo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Gorosti in the 21st minute of play. When Julio Cordero fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fabiano AFC's protests and gave Julio Cordero a yellow card for diving instead. Julio Cordero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Augusto Gartxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Iker Gorosti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damaso Paublo was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Fabiano AFC's Damaso Paublo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Fabiano AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fabiano AFC's goalkeeper Damaso Paublo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 0-3 became the score in the 43rd minute when Augusto Gartxot elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nicasio Lekubegi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augusto Gartxot to strike the kick off in the second half. Enéas Maia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anastasio Tebaldo firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Julio Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fabiano AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Cordero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasio Tebaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicasio Lekubegi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anastasio Tebaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Gartxot, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jovenes Pordioseros's zone, Enéas Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Tebaldo came out of the goal and Enéas Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fermin Mingo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 75 played minutes, Jovenes Pordioseros's Ramiro Jorrin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Damaso Paublo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jovenes Pordioseros reached it. Nicasio Lekubegi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Paublo having to interfere. Damaso Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Gorosti in the 81st minute of the match. Ramiro Jorrin kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The supporters of Jovenes Pordioseros booed when Fabiano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Asier didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Fabiano AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fabiano AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
