When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jonas Castel sped through Cacharí FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lino Beila. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Castel in the 18th minute of play forced Cacharí FC's goalkeeper Lino Beila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cornelio Pacorro came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Deportivo Cristal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelio Pacorro couldn't finish the play. Jonas Castel struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Lino Beila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Cristal. Cacharí FC's Lino Beila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Castel in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the Cacharí FC defense, Jonas Castel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lino Beila. The Cacharí FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lino Beila should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute, Jonas Castel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Cristal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Napier made a kick off. The supporters of Cacharí FC booed when Deportivo Cristal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Pacorro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacob Fresnos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Beila having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Cacharí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Castel came free, but Lino Beila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amancio Escobar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Napier's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Lino Beila didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 62nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. Jonas Castel had several of the Cacharí FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 69 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Lino Beila as he didn't even see the shot coming. Lino Beila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Castel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
