After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Leon Balesio managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Galaxy's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Balesio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Camilo Cesario made a kick off. If Ovidio Mateus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Mario Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Mateus, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The supporters of SC Galaxy booed when Manantial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Loi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Ovidio Mateus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Leon Balesio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mario Domingues. Manantial's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leon Balesio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Mario Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Mateus, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SC Galaxy fully deserved thier win.
