To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Délio Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Unidos's supporters rose to their feet, but Délio Alvarenga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesus Otoniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Ederono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jesus Otoniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximo Eufrasio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stefan Koekkoek having to make a save. A collision led to Ombú FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Claudio Pirro hit a great ball. Jesus Otoniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Ederono's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Froilan Balendin hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Unidos's zone, Maximo Eufrasio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Koekkoek came out of the goal and Maximo Eufrasio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jesus Otoniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Ederono's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Daniel Ederono got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Boca Unidos defense, Maximo Eufrasio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefan Koekkoek. The Boca Unidos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefan Koekkoek should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximo Eufrasio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Délio Alvarenga struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Jesus Otoniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Unidos. Stefan Koekkoek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Eufrasio in the 57th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Daniel Ederono's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jesus Otoniel was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, Daniel Ederono got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Daniel Ederono sped through Ombú FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jesus Otoniel. Ombú FC's Jesus Otoniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Délio Alvarenga in the 92nd minute of play. When Daniel Ederono came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Boca Unidos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Ederono couldn't finish the play. Boca Unidos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
