The crowd rose to their feet as Rodolfo Fix kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isidoro Bermund. That made the score 2-0 in the 45 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Isidoro Bermund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 87 minutes into the match, Machigasta's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Iratzeder came free, but Isidoro Bermund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
