Thanks to some nice moves Rogelio Franco could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Prospero Cordario however easily saved by the left post. In the 13th minute, Modesto Jerrold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogelio Franco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baltasar Palos kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Alejo Fernendo struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Prospero Cordario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tartagal por Siempre. If Rogelio Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Sanson in the 28th minute of play forced GIMNASIA DE PRIMERA's goalkeeper Prospero Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Rogelio Franco made a precise shot to the right of Prospero Cordario. GIMNASIA DE PRIMERA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Prospero Cordario made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Aldo Sanson sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rigoberto Henric to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Rogelio Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Cordario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prospero Cordario came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Tartagal por Siempre's Rogelio Franco. But to his dismay, Rogelio Franco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Rogelio Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Prospero Cordario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Aldo Sanson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Cordario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tartagal por Siempre's Esteban Beti was substituted for Rogelio Franco. A collision led to GIMNASIA DE PRIMERA getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Modesto Jerrold hit a great ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, GIMNASIA DE PRIMERA's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Johans came free, but Prospero Cordario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Aldo Sanson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tartagal por Siempre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 79 minutes into the match, GIMNASIA DE PRIMERA's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Beti came free, but Prospero Cordario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Aristides Oinatz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Quirze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Piearres having to interfere. Aldo Sanson took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Prospero Cordario. Prospero Cordario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Esteban Beti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Cordario having to interfere.
