When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Jose Palben took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Philip Mortimer to make any attempt to save it. Tomas Quirze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Diego Cristos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 34th match minute, Cortadera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Tulio to maneuver through the defense. Diego Cristos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leo Arias having to make a save. Bernardo Baumar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Leo Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvio Maura kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lomas Drink Team's zone, Jose Palben stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Mortimer came out of the goal and Jose Palben tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jose Palben made a kick off. When Bartolo Dominic fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lomas Drink Team's protests and gave Bartolo Dominic a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Lomas Drink Team got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Dominic. Philip Mortimer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Semeno in the 54th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Bartolo Dominic kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leo Arias. That made the score 1-2 in the 56 minute of play. Lomas Drink Team were furious when Patricio Barros was red carded, 59 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 58 minutes into the game, one of Lomas Drink Team:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Cortadera getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Raimundo Semeno hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Estavan in the 74th minute of play forced Lomas Drink Team's goalkeeper Philip Mortimer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Philip Mortimer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Palben in the 77th minute of play. Bernardo Baumar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leo Arias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Lomas Drink Team's Philip Mortimer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Palben in the 83rd minute of play. Philip Mortimer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Semeno in the 84th minute of the match. If Tomas Quirze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Estavan's late challenge caught a Lomas Drink Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Estavan helped the player get up and apologised. Roman Estavan hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Baumar in the 93rd minute of play forced Cortadera's goalkeeper Leo Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
