Thanks to some nice moves Dalmacio Chap could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which 林树鹏 however easily saved by the left post. 46 minutes into the game, Leo Sol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Nicasio Bartoleme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leo Sol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicasio Bartoleme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Sol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicasio Bartoleme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Porfiro in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute of the match Argentina got a corner. Once AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Juvenal ran over to the corner to take the kick. 59 minutes into the match, Armando Porfiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nicasio Bartoleme, 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godofredo Kismi in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 林树鹏 saved Argentina from getting behind. In the 65th minute, Godofredo Kismi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 林树鹏 was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Nicasio Bartoleme was a little too slow when Armando Porfiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 3-3. After having played for 73 minutes, Leo Sol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argentina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Sol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Once AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Medina came free, but Nicasio Bartoleme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Godofredo Kismi put it in 4-3 from a short distance just to the right of 林树鹏. Carlos Juvenal made in the 92nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Benjamim Linares. Armando Porfiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Armando Porfiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nicasio Bartoleme, 4-4. Argentina succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Once AFC had controlled the match.
