Spectators: 7130 (Terracing: 5349, Seating: 1640, VIP seats: 141) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mauricio Felo kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Amancio Ilixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquilino Pacho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Felo in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Gracias Señor Pastoriza's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Hanni came free, but Aquilino Pacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rodolfo Norino came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Gracias Señor Pastoriza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Norino couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Norino in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Iigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the game, Severiano Rios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gracias Señor Pastoriza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quichagua the free kick. Quichagua's Bruno Innocenzio suffered a concussion in the 23rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 23 minutes of play Gracias Señor Pastoriza's Severiano Rios was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 25 played minutes Gracias Señor Pastoriza got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Rios. Qiu Yue fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 27th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. After a defensive mix-up in Quichagua's zone, Qiu Yue stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Iigo came out of the goal and Qiu Yue tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Qiu Yue stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a long run with the ball, Qiu Yue did a trick in the 59th minute in front of Quichagua's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-0. An impressive performance by Gracias Señor Pastoriza's Qiu Yue! Leo Iigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Zanetti in the 66th minute of the match. Amancio Ilixo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leo Iigo having to make a save. In the 80th minute, Qiu Yue made a precise shot to the right of Leo Iigo. Quichagua's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After having played for 83 minutes, Amancio Ilixo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gracias Señor Pastoriza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amancio Ilixo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Javier Zanetti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leo Iigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qiu Yue in the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Gracias Señor Pastoriza were the better team. Gracias Señor Pastoriza's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
