An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Jatsu in the 3rd minute of play forced Altamirano AFC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Vachon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Domínguez booed when Altamirano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Firman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnulfo Vachon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Gustau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Federico Abreu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Godfredo Quirce skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 21 minutes into the game, Altamirano AFC's Federico Abreu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Godfredo Quirce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Hanni got free with Godfredo Quirce in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Maximiliano Hanni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Federico Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Quirce having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Maximiliano Hanni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnulfo Vachon didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Domínguez's Teobaldo Gustau shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Federico Abreu put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Godfredo Quirce. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Federico Abreu made a kick off. Teobaldo Gustau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Arnulfo Vachon made a huge save. Federico Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Domínguez getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Tomás Domenec hit a great ball. Federico Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Godfredo Quirce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Ponce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Quirce having to interfere. Godfredo Quirce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Hanni, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Chlapowski in the 65th minute of play forced Domínguez's goalkeeper Godfredo Quirce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Altamirano AFC's Cosme Kiliz got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venancio Toribio hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. When Federico Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Altamirano AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Abreu couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Domínguez's Venancio Toribio got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Domínguez's goalkeeper Godfredo Quirce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Cosme Kiliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnulfo Vachon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Jatsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute Maximiliano Hanni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Quirce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Venancio Toribio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnulfo Vachon. Altamirano AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Venancio Toribio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Federico Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godfredo Quirce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Abreu's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Federico Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altamirano AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godfredo Quirce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Altamirano AFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
