Eriberto Eliazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Damian Estevez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fondoblanko FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Estevez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Eliazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Abecia struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Benedicto Quinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrialito. If Saverio Bernad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Barrialito's zone, David Dalmai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Eliazar came out of the goal and David Dalmai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Saverio Bernad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benedicto Quinto came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Barrialito's David Abecia. But to his dismay, David Abecia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Benedicto Quinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Abecia in the 25th minute of the match. After 28 minutes, Nemesio Betadur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrialito and the Fondoblanko FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Barrialito's Nemesio Betadur got a free kick in the 28th minute. David Dalmai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Eriberto Eliazar made a huge save. Damian Estevez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Eriberto Eliazar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Damian Estevezs short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Eriberto Eliazar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nemesio Betadur was shown his second yellow card after 40 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Fondoblanko FC booed when Barrialito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Betadur didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Damian Estevez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eriberto Eliazar was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. With his leg Eriberto Eliazar managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Fondoblanko FC's Damian Estevez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Fondoblanko FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barrialito were winning 0-1.

Benedicto Quinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Abecia in the 51st minute of play. Dionisio Camerino kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. If Santos Valentine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fondoblanko FC's Damian Estevez in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barrialito's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Estevez in the 67th minute of play forced Barrialito's goalkeeper Eriberto Eliazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Dalmai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Eliazar having to interfere. In the 79th minute David Dalmai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Eliazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eriberto Eliazar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Dalmai went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Eriberto Eliazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Estevez in the 84th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Estevez in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eriberto Eliazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. David Dalmai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Estevez in the 96th minute of play forced Barrialito's goalkeeper Eriberto Eliazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
