Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Orán booed when Machigasta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Froila didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Machigasta's David Pabla got control of the ball when Placido Regis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eulalio Caitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Cordareo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eulalio Caitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Berasko in the 10th minute of play. Placido Regis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but David Pabla made a huge save. A collision led to Machigasta getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Edgardo Peyo hit a great ball. After 15 played minutes Orán got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Guzman. Alfredo Cordareo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Eulalio Caitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Gaston Berasko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredo Cordareo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Caitano having to interfere. After having played for 33 minutes, Gaston Berasko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Machigasta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Berasko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvano Guzman hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the game, Machigasta's Gaston Berasko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eulalio Caitano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Edgardo Peyo's late challenge caught a Orán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgardo Peyo helped the player get up and apologised. Edgardo Peyo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Alfredo Cordareo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvano Guzman during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Orán players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Machigasta were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo Cordareo made a kick off. If Nemesio Urtats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54thth minute of the game Placido Regis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Machigasta's David Pabla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Orán defense, Gaston Berasko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eulalio Caitano. The Orán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eulalio Caitano should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes in the game, Alfredo Cordareo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eulalio Caitano having to interfere. Gaston Berasko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Eulalio Caitano made a huge save. Placido Regis might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Pabla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Placido Regis ran back to his position shaking his head. 83 minutes into the game, Evaristo Conrao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Orán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Machigasta the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Orán:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Machigasta:s goal. The goalkeeper, Eulalio Caitano, was totally fooled by Machigasta's Alonzo Gauargi, who 85 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Jaime Farias's late challenge caught a Orán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Farias helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Jaime Farias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 96 minutes, Alfredo Cordareo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Machigasta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Cordareo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
