The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Gregorio Ponc managed to get in a good position for a shot. MARACA TEAM's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Ponc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Oalo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Oalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Ponc in the 19th minute of the match. Braulio Urki made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Oscar Haimar sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, MARACA TEAM's Edgardo Endura got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 30th minute, Aquilino Arotza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Gregorio Ponc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Oalo was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Alberto Oalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Donzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Oalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Ponc, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes MARACA TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Naelio. The Euskaldunak players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MARACA TEAM were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Gregorio Ponc made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Euskaldunak's goalkeeper Alberto Oalo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ovidio Abarca. Alberto Oalo came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by MARACA TEAM's Mateo Donzel. But to his dismay, Mateo Donzel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Donzel in the 57th minute of play forced Euskaldunak's goalkeeper Alberto Oalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Euskaldunak booed when MARACA TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Giro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st match minute, Euskaldunak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Maxin to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Ovidio Abarca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MARACA TEAM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Braulio Urki came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Euskaldunak's Arsenio Maxin. But to his dismay, Arsenio Maxin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. After 79 played minutes Euskaldunak got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Maxin. In the 80th minute, Pancho Solis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alberto Oalo. The goal made the score 1-6. In the 85th minute, Arsenio Maxin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th play minute Everardo Giro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alberto Oalo. 1-8. Alberto Oalo was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Pancho Solis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pancho Solis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-9. When the match was over MARACA TEAM could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Euskaldunak throughout the match.
