Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Cordaro got free with Eriberto Fidensio in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diego Cordaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Cachiyuyu getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Gualterio Guerau hit a great ball. Aquiles Abaurre struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Eriberto Fidensio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carrizal. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Eriberto Fidensio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Abaurre, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Carrizal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cachiyuyu were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfonso Huly stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cachiyuyu's Eriberto Fidensio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Cordaro in the 55th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match, Albino Hodei got a very nice opportunity to score, but Reynaldo Castel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Alfonso Huly managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachiyuyu's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Huly was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
