The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Justice League FC booed when San Carlos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justice League FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Juvenal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Bruno Gai notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of San Carlos's Evaristo Ostadar. Evaristo Ostadar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fidel Mazuste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Ostadar having to interfere. Bruno Gai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Bruno Gai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Justice League FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a rather tough play, San Carlos's Prospero Vito got a free kick in the 30th minute. Tadeo Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Tadeo Franco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Orlando Estebano made a huge save. Tomás Juvenal hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Prospero Vito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Estebano having to interfere. San Carlos's Prospero Vito got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Justice League FC's Orlando Estebano got control of the ball when Tadeo Franco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Orlando Estebano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Vito, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natalio Beila during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
