With a left leg Jorge Ekhi saved AC German from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in AC German's zone, Jairo Nikola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Ekhi came out of the goal and Jairo Nikola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonel Artizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Leonel Artizar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorge Ekhi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 28th minute Leonel Artizar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Leonel Artizar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Ekhi was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonel Artizar in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Ekhi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Artizar in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Ekhi saved AC German from getting behind. In the 40thth minute of the game Leonel Artizar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC German's Jorge Ekhi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jairo Nikola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Ekhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Artizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When POTRERO SPIRIT's Leonel Artizar in 63 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jorge Ekhi guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Gonzalo Raymond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Frascuelo in the 64th minute of play. Leonel Artizar might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Ekhi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonel Artizar ran back to his position shaking his head. Lino Frascuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gonzalo Raymond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of AC German booed when POTRERO SPIRIT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Nikola didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, AC German's goal looked a bit too open when Spencer Hare came free, but Jorge Ekhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Ekhi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Artizar's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Spencer Hare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Ekhi having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, POTRERO SPIRIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Artizar to maneuver through the defense. The AC German fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. POTRERO SPIRIT were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
