The tension between the Rengos FC and the Vivoratá FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rengos FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. When Vicente Steven came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Rengos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Steven couldn't finish the play. Ismael Ibar hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Jaime Tiniebra charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Tiniebra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
