The supporters of Rosario booed when Toldos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Monte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genaro Arnau scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eduardo Olando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gabriel Maore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Filiberto Monte fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toldos AFC's protests and gave Filiberto Monte a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Toldos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Monte. After 30 minutes, Paulino Gorbea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rosario and the Toldos AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rosario getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Paulino Gorbea hit a great ball. Arturo Montay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Bernardino Kaxen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rosario's Bernardino Kaxen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Rosario from getting a goal against them. 41 minutes into the match, Rosario's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Montay came free, but Bernardino Kaxen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After having played for 51 minutes, Genaro Arnau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genaro Arnau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 60 played minutes Rosario got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Maore. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Montay in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardino Kaxen saved Rosario from getting behind. A collision led to Rosario getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Bartolo Che hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Toldos AFC's Basilio Cordara got a free kick in the 70th minute. Eduardo Olando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Maore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 played minutes Rosario got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Che. In the 73rd minute, Ulises Rito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erasmo Mikelats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Bernardino Kaxen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Toldos AFC's Eduardo Olando got control of the ball when Genaro Arnau tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Julio Tiadoro fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosario's protests and gave Julio Tiadoro a yellow card for diving instead. Julio Tiadoro hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Arturo Montay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Maore in the 94th minute of play forced Toldos AFC's goalkeeper Eduardo Olando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rosario had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
