When Gervasio Ovando came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Bragado AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Ovando couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Gervasio Ovando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Narciso Aguilera was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Gervasio Ovando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Aguilera having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gervasio Ovando in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Aguilera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Ovando in the 21st minute of play forced Jovita AFC's goalkeeper Narciso Aguilera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Orti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jacobo Mero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bragado AFC's Amadeo Aguilera got a free kick in the 29th minute. Roberto Orti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacobo Mero came out and tried to block the shot, but Roberto Orti slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 30th minute. Fausto Joey charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 41st minute Amadeo Aguilera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Aguilera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Ovando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Ovando in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Roberto Orti made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Roberto Orti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jovita AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Orti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Virgilio Arano hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jovita AFC's zone, Amadeo Aguilera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Aguilera came out of the goal and Amadeo Aguilera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gervasio Ovando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Narciso Aguilera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeo Aguilera got free with Narciso Aguilera in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Narciso Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Ovando in the 71st minute of play. Amadeo Aguilera came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Narciso Aguilera could save by the left post. 78 minutes into the game, Bragado AFC's Amadeo Aguilera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Narciso Aguilera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When Bragado AFC's Amadeo Aguilera in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Narciso Aguilera. After having played for 95 minutes, Amadeo Aguilera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bragado AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeo Aguilera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
