Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) La rejunta FC's Federico Sidoro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Donato Eudoxio struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Amancio Bladi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente. Amancio Bladi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Mazuste in the 4th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Stig Sander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig Sander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amancio Bladi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amancio Bladi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Uriel Mazuste showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Uriel Mazuste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Amancio Bladi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 minutes, Gerardo Ayala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La rejunta FC and the Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in La rejunta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! After a defensive mix-up in La rejunta FC's zone, Uriel Mazuste stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amancio Bladi came out of the goal and Uriel Mazuste tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uriel Mazuste in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amancio Bladi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Amancio Bladi managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Independiente's Stig Sander fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of La rejunta FC booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aris Ziakas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Uriel Mazuste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Stig Sander reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amancio Bladi. The goal made the score 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Sidoro in the 40th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Claudio Lluis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente's zone, Mauro Mel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Lluis came out of the goal and Mauro Mel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauro Mel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Lluis having to interfere. Uriel Mazuste was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Uriel Mazuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The wind increased when Stig Sander made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Uriel Mazuste cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Amancio Bladi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Uriel Mazuste recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amancio Bladi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Mazuste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudio Lluis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Sidoro in the 69th minute of play. Amancio Bladi came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente's Stig Sander. But to his dismay, Stig Sander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Amancio Bladi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Eudoxio, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When Uriel Mazuste came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Mazuste couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Stig Sander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudio Lluis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Mel in the 86th minute. Mauro Mel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Claudio Lluis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Sidoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amancio Bladi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Sander, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
