Xion F.C's Rigoberto Fero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Xion F.C from getting a goal against them. After 25 played minutes Xion F.C got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Abaurre. In the 33rd minute, Santiago Abaurre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustin Abel hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Severiano Bazil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rigoberto Fero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Severiano Bazil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alma leprosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Severiano Bazil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Fero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severiano Bazil to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Antonio Mannuel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xion F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alma leprosa the free kick. After 53 played minutes Xion F.C got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Mannuel. Severiano Bazil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Fero having to interfere. Rigoberto Fero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Bazil in the 58th minute of play. Severiano Bazil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the game, Severiano Bazil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rigoberto Fero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th match minute, Xion F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Abaurre to maneuver through the defense. Luis Oxel hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Teodoro Natal didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Xion F.C's Santiago Abaurre shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. When Santiago Abaurre came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Xion F.C fans jumped to their feet.
