Spectators: 7149 (Terracing: 5363, Seating: 1644, VIP seats: 142) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ruben Gervaso made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in La Dolfina Dubái's zone, Saul Odon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustaquio Jaunzuria came out of the goal and Saul Odon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustaquio Jaunzuria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Gervaso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Haimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Maunsell in the 11th minute of the match. When Ruben Gervaso fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montecarlo's protests and gave Ruben Gervaso a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Montecarlo got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Gervaso. Honorato Transito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Alvaro Haimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Honorato Transito notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Montecarlo's Alvaro Haimar. Alvaro Haimar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd minute, Ruben Gervaso fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Esteve Quintan fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montecarlo's protests and gave Esteve Quintan a yellow card for diving instead. Esteve Quintan hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Jeremias Bela missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 32 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Alvaro Haimar right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Todor in the 34th minute of play forced Montecarlo's goalkeeper Alvaro Haimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robustiano Todor took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvaro Haimar. Alvaro Haimar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Tom Maunsell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Haimar having to interfere. In the 44th minute Honorato Transito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Haimar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Honorato Transito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Haimar. Montecarlo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorato Transito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Saul Odon came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Montecarlo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Odon couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tom Maunsell got free with Alvaro Haimar in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 72 minutes, Saul Odon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montecarlo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saul Odon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Honorato Transito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tom Maunsell in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alvaro Haimar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 77th minute Honorato Transito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Haimar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 played minutes Montecarlo got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Unai. With a little luck, Montecarlo's Alvaro Haimar got control of the ball when Tom Maunsell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Esteve Quintan kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. The long shot by Higinio Gudesteo in the 86th minute really tested Alvaro Haimar's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Alvaro Haimar was a little too slow when Honorato Transito got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-4. 95 minutes into the match, Montecarlo's goalkeeper Alvaro Haimar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tom Maunsell. La Dolfina Dubái's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
