Spectators: 7140 (Terracing: 5356, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 9th minute of the match Freddy Evarado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pastor Cuartio skillfully saved the ball. If Placido Lia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Placido Lia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuervo Pasion's supporters rose to their feet, but Placido Lia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernan Maiorga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pablo Quintun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Fernan Maiorga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariel Hug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. After 44 played minutes Cuervo Pasion got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Quintun. After having played for 47 minutes, Ariel Hug managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CHIZZO NAPOLI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Hug was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Ariel Hug made the kick off in the second half. If Ariel Hug had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fernan Maiorga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Mundo in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Hug in the 59th minute of play forced Cuervo Pasion's goalkeeper Pastor Cuartio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonatan Martino was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 65 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of CHIZZO NAPOLI:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cuervo Pasion:s goal. The goalkeeper, Fernan Maiorga, was totally fooled by Cuervo Pasion's Pablo Quintun, who 67 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Fernan Maiorga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Eyague, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Simon Maldonado fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuervo Pasion's protests and gave Simon Maldonado a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cuervo Pasion getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Simon Maldonado hit a great ball. Freddy Evarado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pastor Cuartio. Cuervo Pasion's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ariel Hug's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pastor Cuartio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Cuervo Pasion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Quintun to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 79 minutes, Ariel Hug managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CHIZZO NAPOLI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Hug was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. But to his dismay, Placido Lia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After some careless play in the Cuervo Pasion defense, Ariel Hug kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pastor Cuartio. The Cuervo Pasion fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pastor Cuartio should have stopped the shot. In the 99th minute, Ariel Hug got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
