Spectators: 6971 (Terracing: 5320, Seating: 1631, VIP seats: 20) Caruso Lombardi 11's Santiago Hori started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iker Donzel during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes Caruso Lombardi 11 got a freekick which was hit by Iker Donzel. When Fulgencio Cutberto came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Ávalos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulgencio Cutberto couldn't finish the play. Luiz Paulo Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ávalos AFC booed when Caruso Lombardi 11 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Oliverios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Paulo Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Maximiliano Rios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleto Olando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Rios having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Caruso Lombardi 11's Raul Eneko got a free kick in the 15th minute. Cristo Osasun's late challenge caught a Ávalos AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristo Osasun helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Ávalos AFC a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fulgencio Cutberto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Caruso Lombardi 11's Maximiliano Rios. 1-0. Zenon Domin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Rios having to interfere. Luiz Paulo Meirelles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Luiz Paulo Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ávalos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Paulo Meirelles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Rios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Paulo Meirelles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Fulgencio Cutberto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximiliano Rios skillfully saved the ball. Maximiliano Rios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Meirelles, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Fulgencio Cutberto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximiliano Rios showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ignacio Quintun came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gerardo Frutos could save by the left post. Fulgencio Cutberto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maximiliano Rios. Caruso Lombardi 11's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caruso Lombardi 11's goalkeeper Maximiliano Rios, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 69th minute of the match, Victorio Oliverios got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gerardo Frutos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Luiz Paulo Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Maximiliano Rios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Cleto Olando notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Caruso Lombardi 11's Maximiliano Rios. Maximiliano Rios was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 80 minutes, Cleto Olando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ávalos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cleto Olando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cleto Olando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Rios having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Luiz Paulo Meirelles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Maximiliano Rios was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Cleto Olando came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ávalos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Olando couldn't finish the play. In the 96th match minute, Caruso Lombardi 11 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Valery to maneuver through the defense. Caruso Lombardi 11's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
