Placido Regis made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Godofredo Bero sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the match, Zoso's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Rumaldo came free, but Placido Regis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 played minutes Zoso got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Quico. A collision led to Zoso getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Danilo Frederico hit a great ball. Xeneises's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
