Leopoldo Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ambrosio Lluterio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Bemabe, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Leopoldo Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Dorio in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute Talleres FC were awarded a corner. Flavio Dorio went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Laureano Bitxintxo to score against Leopoldo Barbosa in Rocii's goal. 0-2 after 26 minutes. 33 minutes into the match, Talleres FC's Dan Berg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leopoldo Barbosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rocii's goalkeeper Leopoldo Barbosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Rocii defense, Dan Berg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Barbosa. The Rocii fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Barbosa should have stopped the shot. If Dan Berg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gonzalo Matteo made the kick off in the second half. Talleres FC's Dan Berg got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Berg in the 56th minute of play forced Rocii's goalkeeper Leopoldo Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dan Berg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Rocii's zone, Flavio Dorio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Barbosa came out of the goal and Flavio Dorio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Flavio Dorio in the 64th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Leopoldo Barbosa kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-4 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Berg in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Barbosa saved Rocii from getting behind. Flavio Dorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Barbosa having to interfere. In the 71st minute of the match, Flavio Dorio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Leopoldo Barbosa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Talleres FC booed when Rocii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Bemabe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th match minute, Rocii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Haritz to maneuver through the defense. After 80 played minutes, Talleres FC's Flavio Dorio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leopoldo Barbosa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Talleres FC reached it. Leopoldo Barbosa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Talleres FC's Flavio Dorio shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. Gonzalo Matteo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ambrosio Lluterio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Flavio Dorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Barbosa having to interfere. Talleres FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
