With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celestino Rudolfo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 6th play minute Lorenzo Chesus came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Celestino Rudolfo. 1-0. If Lorenzo Chesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edelmiro Abastas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Giro in the 17th minute of play. Celestino Rudolfo made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Lorenzo Chesus sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carmelo Giro during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 26 minutes into the game, Anthon Nilsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo Sánchez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Obsesivos.com the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Sigvard Östlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Deportivo Sánchez's supporters rose to their feet, but Sigvard Östlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celestino Rudolfo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lorenzo Chesus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Obsesivos.com's Celestino Rudolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Pacho in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Sigvard Östlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luisito Clementi made a kick off. Luisito Clementi charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luisito Clementi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aristides Abeitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Rudolfo having to interfere. Celestino Rudolfo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 88 minutes, Lorenzo Chesus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo Sánchez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Chesus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the game, Sigvard Östlund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Celestino Rudolfo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lorenzo Chesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute Lorenzo Chesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Rudolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club Deportivo Sánchez had played much better football throughout.
