Nicanor Tirso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the game, Dario Rey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nicanor Tirso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cadillal AFC's Dario Rey got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chacarita Jrs.'s Artemio Hotz got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 14 minutes, Marcelo Rainerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chacarita Jrs.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Rainerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicanor Tirso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dario Rey's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Tiburcio Indar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cadillal AFC's Dario Rey got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eduardo Ascencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Nicanor Tirso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cadillal AFC's attack was well implemented in the 27th minute, but when Dario Rey was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Chacarita Jrs.'s Nicanor Tirso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Rey in the 35th minute of play. Nicanor Tirso came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Cadillal AFC's Tiburcio Indar. But to his dismay, Tiburcio Indar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Honorio Dantae successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 47th minute, Everardo Chinto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Honorio Dantae was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Barto to strike the kick off in the second half. If Marcelo Rainerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dario Rey came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Cadillal AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Rey couldn't finish the play. Honorio Dantae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Barto in the 64th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cadillal AFC's Eduardo Ascencio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicanor Tirso. That made the score 1-3 after 67 minutes of play. In the 77th minute, Cadillal AFC's Tiburcio Indar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Barto in the 81st minute of play forced Cadillal AFC's goalkeeper Honorio Dantae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 played minutes Chacarita Jrs. got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Rainerio. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rene Botello during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Chacarita Jrs. getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Rene Botello hit a great ball. When Everardo Chinto fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chacarita Jrs.'s protests and gave Everardo Chinto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Everardo Chinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Dario Rey could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Nicanor Tirso however easily saved by the left post. If Dario Rey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Cadillal AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chacarita Jrs. throughout the match.
