Spectators: 7152 (Terracing: 5365, Seating: 1645, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Inocencio Oliverios took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Chacarita Jrs.'s Hilario Gartzea got a free kick in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Rodas in the 3rd minute of play forced Chacarita Jrs.'s goalkeeper Nicanor Tirso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicanor Tirso came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by River Plate de Hurlingham's Inocencio Oliverios. But to his dismay, Inocencio Oliverios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Abel Lopes hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The supporters of River Plate de Hurlingham booed when Chacarita Jrs. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Cordara didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chacarita Jrs.'s zone, Inocencio Oliverios stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicanor Tirso came out of the goal and Inocencio Oliverios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicanor Tirso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Oliverios in the 19th minute of play. If Inocencio Oliverios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th minute, Ladislao Bittor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. River Plate de Hurlingham's Manuel Rodas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nicanor Tirso but with some difficulty. After 30 played minutes, Chacarita Jrs.'s Domingo Cordara shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emilio Mercurio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chacarita Jrs. reached it. Nicanor Tirso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inocencio Oliverios went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. With his leg Nicanor Tirso managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when River Plate de Hurlingham's Inocencio Oliverios fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 39 played minutes Chacarita Jrs. got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Hotz. If Inocencio Oliverios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Lalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Nicanor Tirso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chacarita Jrs.'s Nicanor Tirso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Chacarita Jrs. from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Barto to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Abel Lopes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Inocencio Oliverios came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the River Plate de Hurlingham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inocencio Oliverios couldn't finish the play. Inocencio Oliverios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Tirso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inocencio Oliverios went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 70th match minute, River Plate de Hurlingham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Lalla to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd match minute, River Plate de Hurlingham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Ladislao Bittor's late challenge caught a River Plate de Hurlingham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ladislao Bittor helped the player get up and apologised. Abel Lopes missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 77 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Nicanor Tirso right hand side. A collision led to Chacarita Jrs. getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Everardo Chinto hit a great ball. After 80 minutes of play, River Plate de Hurlingham's Inocencio Oliverios made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicanor Tirso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicanor Tirso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Oliverios, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86thth minute of the game Inocencio Oliverios who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chacarita Jrs.'s Nicanor Tirso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Domingo Cordara hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The supporters of River Plate de Hurlingham booed when Chacarita Jrs. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Lain didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inocencio Oliverios in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicanor Tirso saved Chacarita Jrs. from getting behind. When Manuel Rodas came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the River Plate de Hurlingham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Rodas couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, River Plate de Hurlingham's Inocencio Oliverios sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicanor Tirso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There was no doubt that River Plate de Hurlingham were the better team. River Plate de Hurlingham's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
