Leon Llorienzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Chucho having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, athletic A's Alfonso Fagondo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fevzi Kadıoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Petri in the 17th minute of play forced Real Coholicos's goalkeeper Fevzi Kadıoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Llorienzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fevzi Kadıoğlu came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by athletic A's Alfonso Fagondo. But to his dismay, Alfonso Fagondo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Fevzi Kadıoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Fagondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Aaron Ignado hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Fevzi Kadıoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Petri in the 38th minute of play. After 39 minutes of play, athletic A's Alfonso Fagondo made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fevzi Kadıoğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leon Llorienzo during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Real Coholicos getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Leon Llorienzo hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Arnulfo Cordarrel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the game, Alfonso Petri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Fevzi Kadıoğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the match, Real Coholicos's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Petri came free, but Fevzi Kadıoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fevzi Kadıoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Fagondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Enzo Janpier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The athletic A fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 70th minute, Alfonso Fagondo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fevzi Kadıoğlu. The goal made the score 0-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Enzo Janpier managed to get in a good position for a shot. athletic A's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Janpier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fevzi Kadıoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, athletic A's Alfonso Petri dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaac Abecia got free with Fevzi Kadıoğlu in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Real Coholicos's Fevzi Kadıoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Real Coholicos from getting a goal against them. In the 81st match minute, Real Coholicos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Llorienzo to maneuver through the defense. Real Coholicos's Fevzi Kadıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Petri in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute Alfonso Fagondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fevzi Kadıoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfonso Petri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fevzi Kadıoğlu. That made the score 0-9 in the 88 minute of play. Real Coholicos's Fevzi Kadıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Fagondo in the 94th minute of play. Lázaro Abastas charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lázaro Abastas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th match minute, athletic A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Abastas to maneuver through the defense. athletic A's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
