Ermegildo Havier ran back to his position shaking his head. Erasmo Indartsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Mantzio in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Lamberto in the 22nd minute of play forced Unicode's goalkeeper Natalio Todor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natalio Todor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Emeterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Loco Abreu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natalio Todor. Unicode's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loco Abreu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Unicode's Ermegildo Havier got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Antaine Ramsey fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Muteanos F.C.'s protests and gave Antaine Ramsey a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Muteanos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Antaine Ramsey. After a rather tough play, Unicode's Alfonso Mosen got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilio Emeterio to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Jimeno Mantzio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unicode's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Mantzio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Indartsu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 55 minutes of play, Unicode's Jimeno Mantzio made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erasmo Indartsu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emilio Emeterio hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Alfonso Mosen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Antaine Ramsey was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Muteanos F.C.'s Antaine Ramsey got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Emilio Emeterio charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilio Emeterio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th match minute, Muteanos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Emeterio to maneuver through the defense. Tugay Heybetli's late challenge caught a Unicode's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Muteanos F.C.'s Erasmo Indartsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Mantzio in the 75th minute of play. In the 97th minute of the match Amadeo Incendio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erasmo Indartsu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Muteanos F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
