The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Breas's Eustacio Clemencin got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th play minute Iker Tajo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sergio Grabiel. 2-0. Sergio Grabiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Colon in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Humberto Lluc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yiğit Can Akbayrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Breas's Nicolas Evis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nicolas Evis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Breas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nicolas Evis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 37 minutes into the game, one of Breas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Lluc in the 42nd minute of play forced Chachapoyas FC's goalkeeper Yiğit Can Akbayrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
