Eduard Kabatskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Isias having to interfere. If Eduard Kabatskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pascual Savion struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Baldomero Isias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basavilbaso FC. Eduard Kabatskiys short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Baldomero Isias to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Esteban Daunte hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Baldomero Isias made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Eduard Kabatskiy sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute, Sebastian Orlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Eduard Kabatskiy made a precise shot to the right of Baldomero Isias. Instituto made a substitution. Samuel Rius replaced Sebastian Orlo. Pascual Savion hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Instituto's Baldomero Isias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Gartzea in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute Eduard Kabatskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Isias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 minutes Instituto's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raul Gartzea who took care of the corner kick. Francisco Tino thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Baldomero Isias, a very annoying self made goal in the 87th minute which led to 5-0. Raul Gartzea might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baldomero Isias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raul Gartzea ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Kabatskiy in the 92nd minute of play forced Instituto's goalkeeper Baldomero Isias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute, Siro Cruz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Basavilbaso FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0.
