The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daniele De Carolis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Calisto, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 5th match minute, Knives pro lll generacion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Deunoro to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, RACING CLUB's Ariel Gotzon got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Deunoro in the 15th minute of play forced RACING CLUB's goalkeeper Ciriaco Truylos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Knives pro lll generacion's Sergio Transito got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute Joel Engström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Truylos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Sergio Transito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Knives pro lll generacion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Daniele De Carolis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Calisto in the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to Knives pro lll generacion getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jonathan Deunoro hit a great ball. Ciriaco Truylos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Deunoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Joel Engström sped through RACING CLUB's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ciriaco Truylos. Daniele De Carolis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Calisto in the 42nd minute of play. Ciriaco Truylos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Engström in the 45th minute of the match. Emilio Calisto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Daniele De Carolis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aureliano Senin to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Joel Engström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ciriaco Truylos, 0-3. In the 62nd minute, Ciro Goito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 minutes, Nicanor Lopez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Knives pro lll generacion and the RACING CLUB players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Knives pro lll generacion got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Lopez. Aureliano Senin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Aureliano Senin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Knives pro lll generacion's Abel Igon got a free kick in the 69th minute. Emilio Calisto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Daniele De Carolis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Knives pro lll generacion getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Americo Casomiro hit a great ball. Ciriaco Truylos came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Knives pro lll generacion's Sergio Transito. But to his dismay, Sergio Transito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The supporters of Knives pro lll generacion booed when RACING CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Stephen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoro Llanos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Senin in the 91st minute of play forced Knives pro lll generacion's goalkeeper Daniele De Carolis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RACING CLUB were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Knives pro lll generacion's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aureliano Senin took the corner. RACING CLUB's Aureliano Senin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Daniele De Carolis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Knives pro lll generacion's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
