The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Casillas's Candido Beturian got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute Candido Beturian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Gartzen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in BAYCORPS's zone, Ceferino Ruy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Gartzen came out of the goal and Ceferino Ruy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 42 played minutes BAYCORPS got a freekick which was hit by Federico Abeita. Ignacio Videl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lino Jerardo during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Armando Gartzen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ceferino Ruy's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute Ceferino Ruy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Gartzen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Ignacio Videl got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Casillas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
