The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The throw-in from Melquiades Rainerio in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Houssay ♪'s Valentin Chucho. If Salvador Aballe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Lescanos FC's Placido Romo got control of the ball when Celestino Santo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Astor Dacio during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 16 played minutes Lescanos FC got a freekick which was hit by Astor Dacio. 26 minutes in the game Melquiades Rainerio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sixto Vigil. Fermin Gabirel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Placido Romo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fermin Gabirel in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Placido Romo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Lescanos FC's Astor Dacio got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Placido Romo made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Fermin Gabirel sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 37 minutes, Fermin Gabirel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Houssay ♪'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Gabirel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th play minute Salvador Aballe came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Placido Romo. 2-0. Fermin Gabirel in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Placido Romo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Fermin Gabirel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramon Mancio was the one to do the kick off. Fermin Gabirel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Placido Romo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Celestino Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Romo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Houssay ♪ fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Houssay ♪'s Fermin Gabirel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 61st minute, Ciro Salomone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Houssay ♪'s Fermin Gabirel fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Placido Romo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fermin Gabirel's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. When Ciro Salomone fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lescanos FC's protests and gave Ciro Salomone a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes Lescanos FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Salomone. Placido Romo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Gabirel in the 84th minute of the match. Placido Romo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Gabirel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salvador Aballe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fermin Gabirel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Placido Romo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Fermin Gabirel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
