Severino Pirro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Fulgencio Maldonado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosme Fulanito FC's Fulgencio Maldonado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Pirro in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Roberto Claus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OLIMPO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cosme Fulanito FC the free kick. After 13 played minutes OLIMPO got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Claus. In the 16th minute, Roberto Claus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OLIMPO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 19 minutes, Edgardo Castulo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cosme Fulanito FC and the OLIMPO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Cosme Fulanito FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Castulo. 26 minutes into the match, OLIMPO's Roberto Claus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fulgencio Maldonado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Severino Pirro struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Fulgencio Maldonado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OLIMPO. OLIMPO's Roberto Claus got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Delmar Honesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th minute, Cosme Fulanito FC's Delmar Honesto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. When Denis Lluciano came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Cosme Fulanito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Lluciano couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Adolfo Paio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The OLIMPO fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when OLIMPO's Roberto Claus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Pirro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fulgencio Maldonado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roberto Claus's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 67th minute of the match Ariel Eron shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaspar Maxin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gaspar Maxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Lluciano in the 68th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Cosme Fulanito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Venerando to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Chico took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fulgencio Maldonado. Cosme Fulanito FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fulgencio Maldonado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Pirro, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Severino Pirro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Fulgencio Maldonado 81 minutes into the match. Denis Lluciano scored 2-6 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaspar Maxin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Delmar Honesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Lluciano struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Gaspar Maxin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cosme Fulanito FC. 94 minutes into the match, OLIMPO's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Honesto came free, but Gaspar Maxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. OLIMPO played a much better game than Cosme Fulanito FC and deserved their victory. The Cosme Fulanito FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
